Earthquake of 5.8 Magnitude Hits J&K

A moderate earthquake was felt across parts of Jammu and Kashmir this evening.

Reports reaching GNS said that tremors, measuring 5.8 on Richter scale, were felt for several seconds at around 7:58 PM.

The epicentre of the earthquake was Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan (70.83°E 36.47°N).

There were no immediate reports of any injury or damage to any property received from anywhere so far. (GNS)
