In this meeting KPC team headed by Roshan Shehab and Manzoor Bhat Sb requested for public transport facilities to tourist places like Bangus, Lolab, Reshwari, Kalaroos, Teetwal, Sharda Temple, Machil and others, as it can help promote tourism and make these places more accessible to visitors.
KPC team also requested Dr Sagar Doifode Sir to conduct seminars on tourism development and awareness, which can also be beneficial in promoting tourism in the area. DC Kupwara has also suggested to conduct different competitions like best reels, vlogs, photographs and videos related to beauty of District Kupwara, which can engage young youth and help to gather data related to different natural places of District Kupwara.
DC Kupwara has assured the team with full support, which is a positive sign for the community tourism development.
KPC Team also briefed DC Kupwara about their new step of starting tracking and hiking to different mountains in Kupwara, which can enlighten locals with regional information and can also be a great attraction for adventure tourists.
Overall, it’s a positive step towards the development of tourism in Kupwara, and I hope that the local authorities continue to support such initiatives to promote tourism in the area.
