Whom in Pakistan should we talk: BJP’s Ravinder Raina to Farooq Abdullah

BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina Monday questioned Dr. Farooq Abdullah on his remarks about dialogue with neighboring country, saying “Dr. Farooq Abdullah should tell us to whom in Pakistan’ New Delhi should talk”.

Raina was responding to the remarks made by NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah that situation in J&K cannot be normalized till talks with Pakistan taken up. The former CM of J&K had said “The deteriorating situation of J&K cannot be restored back to peace and normalcy till two big nations – India and Pakistan – will sit, decide and shape the future of J&K through confabulations”.

Raina said “Dr. Farooq Abdullah should tell us to whom in Pakistan we should talk? Should we talk to Nawaz Shareef, Shahbaz Shareef, Imran Khan or to those who are lodged in jails there”.

He said when Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee travelled to Pakistan in a bus, it was Dr. Farooq Abdullah who was accompanied to former Prime Minister of India. “India has always opted dialogue. It has talked to every country of the world, but Dr. Farooq Abdullah should tell us to whom in Pakistan we should talk,” Raina added. (KNS)
