BJP’s Er Aijaz visits Srinagar’s Khonmoh block

Senior BJP leader and DDC member Er Aijaz Hussain today visited Khonmoh block and distributed pamphlets among people highlighting the Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s achievements during the past nine years of BJP rule at Centre.

Er Aijaz visited Sangri, Sekinar, Khonmoh and various villages including Balhama to highlight the vision and mission of PM Modi to the people as part of Jan Samparkh Abhiyan that mentions the achievements of Modiji’s nine year rule.

Er Aijaz said BJP leader told people that almost a decade-long tenure marks huge development, peace, prosperity and a big boost to country’s economy. Er Aijaz while visiting door to door stated that under the leadership of PM Modi, J&K was a peaceful place and almost terror free place. Aijaz even though the country touched new heights since PM Modi took the reins, it would not have possible to see India’s economy growing from 1 trillion dollars in 2014 to 3.5 trillion at present.

The BJP leader for the first time, Rs 29 lakh crore have been directly transferred to beneficiary bank accounts. “Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana (PMGKAY), more than 80 crore poor were provided food grains across the country free of cost,” Er Aijaz said, adding that Rs 5,182 crore have been disbursed in 42.87 accounts under PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi till March 2023.

“In its nine-year, Modi government has saved Rs 71,301 crore due to weeding away dummy LPG connections. Rs 13,290 crore claims have been settled under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana,” Er Aijaz said. Pertinently, Modi was sworn in for the first time as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014, and then took oath at the office for the second term on May 30, 2019. The BJP leader said it was possible only under the leadership of PM Modi that Article 370 which was a big hurdle in the development of J&K , was removed and buried forever.

“Under PM Modi’s leadership, Rs 1 lakh Crore worth road and highways projects are being carried out while as train from Kashmir to Kanyakumari is set to chug soon,” Er Aijaz said, adding that it was possible only under the leadership of PM Modi that Srinagar was given a chance to host first ever G-20 Sumit with focus on exploring tourism potential or the UT.

With the Modis personal efforts, J&K saw record number of tourist arrivals for the first time at 1.88 Crore in 2022 and the figure is set to go high in the ensuing year. Srinagar saw real development under the smart city project while Jammu too touched new heights of development and got the largest zoo in northern India.

The BJP leader said that Gujjars and Bakers are feeling proud to see their upliftment besides other downtrodden sections of the society. He said it was all possible due to Modiji’s personal intervention and great vision which is being followed in spirt across the country including J&K.
