Folklore Research Academy Amritsar Organise 28th Indo-Pak Dosti Meet On 76th Independence of India
28th Indo-Pak Dosti Meet, dedicated to 76th Independence of India, is being organised by Folklore Research Academy Amritsar, Hind-Pak Dosti Manch, SAFMA and other like minded associations, on 14th August 2023, at Khalsa College Amritsar. Mr. Ramesh Yadav, President Folklore Research Academy Amritsar, informed the press that a high level Seminar on the topic ” Indo-Pak Relations: Current Status,” will be organised on 14th August 2023, at 10.30 A.M, at Khalsa College Amritsar.
In this Seminar eminent scholars,writers, journalists and intellectuals including Vinod Sharma ( Senior Journalist), Dr. Monica Datta ( Associate Prof. Center for Historical Studies, JNU), Manpreet Singh Iyali ( M.L.A. Alkali Dal), A.R.Shaheen (Ex. M.P.), Rakesh Tikait ( Farmar Leader ), Prof. Surjit Judge ( Ge. Sec. Pragtisheel Lekhak Sangh) , P.L.Onial ( SAFMA), Satnam Singh Manek ( Executive Editor of Ajit Group of Publications), will address the audience.
In the evening, A Play ” Jallianwala Bagh Massacre” will be staged at 6.00 p.m., in Natshala, Amritsar.
And like every year, at night, at 12.00 O’clock, candles will be lighted on Attari-Wagha Border, to spread the message of love, peace, cooperation, brotherhood and harmony among the people of India and Pakistan.Satnam Singh Manek and Surjit Judge also addressed the press.
