At least two residential houses and a cowshed were gutted in fire incidents in Chenjimullah Zachaldara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday evening.
According to reports, around evening, a fire erupted in a residential house and spread to nearby houses.
Soon after the fire erupted, the locals present there swung into action and were immediately joined by the firemen and police.
Confirming the incident, a Police official said two houses and a cowshed were gutted in a fire incident, adding that no one was injured in the blaze.
The investigation in this regard has been started he added.(KNS)
