A Major tragedy was averted on Friday after security forces recovered arms and ammunition in Dara Peer Makal area of Thanamandi of Rajouri district.
Officials told GNS that a joint team of Police and army’s 48RR during searches found arms and ammunition in the area.
Giving details, the official said that 4 Remote IEDs, 6 UBGL grenades, 5 detonators, 4 Fuse, two small boxes packages and other unnamed items were recovered from the area.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (GNS)
