Commissioner State Taxes e-Inaugurates New Office of DC Enforcement in North Kashmir

Commissioner State Taxes J&K, Mr. P.K. Bhat, JKAS e-inaugurated inauguration the new office complex of Deputy Commissioner Enforcement (North) Kashmir located at Lallad Sopore.

The inauguration function witnessed an impressive gathering of various officers including Additional Commissioner State Taxes Kashmir, shri Shakeel Maqbool Yatoo (ICAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Shri Shabir Ahmad Raina (JKAS), RTO Kashmir Shri Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari (JKAS), Deputy Commissioner State Taxes Enforcement (Central & North) Kashmir, Shri Parveez Ahmad Raina (JKAS), DC Appeals II Shri Alyas Nasir, Assistant Commissioner Technical Kashmir, shri Sarib Sehran (JKAS), State Taxes Officer Enforcement (North) Sheikh Attar (JKAS), STO Baramulla, shri Showkat Ahmad Showkat (JKAS), STO Srinagar, shri Sakhi Mohammad Khan, STO Srinagar, shri Sameer Ahmad Dar(JKAS), STO Sopore Shri Sajjad Ahmad, STO Kupwara shri Parveez Ahmad, Inspectors, sub-inspectors and other officials of the department.
On the occasion, ADC Sopore expressed support for the initiative and commitment to fostering collaboration for the betterment of the region.

The inauguration of the office complex for Enforcement Wing of the Department for North Kashmir, marks a significant milestone in enhancing enforcement capabilities of the department towards revenue augmentation of the State exchequer and enhancing compliance of GST, said CST J&K in his address.

The newly inaugurated office, situated at strategically advantageous location, offers enhanced accessibility for enforcement activities across all districts of North Kashmir. Boasting six spacious rooms and an equally spacious lawn, the office is equipped to facilitate seamless operations and efficient coordination between department and stakeholders.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Additional Commissioner State Taxes Kashmir emphasized the pivotal role of the new office in strengthening enforcement efforts and ensuring compliance with tax regulations across the region. He highlighted the strategic significance of the location, underscoring its convenience for stakeholders and its potential to streamline enforcement activities.
