Based on specific information/input related to presence of a militant hideout in the forest area of Gangbugh (Sogam) Forest, a joint CASO was launched by JKP, BSF, Army 28 RR and 162 BN CRPF.
During the search operation, a militant hideout was busted out in which containing large quantity of war like stores has been recovered.
“This operation has delivered a major blow to the nefarious designs of PaK based militant groups who have always aspired to disturb the peace and tranquillity in Kashmir valley. In this context a formal case has been registered in PS Sogam and investigation has been taken up.”
