Well Care Medical Institute (WMI), Ahmad Nagar,90 feet road,Srinagar conducted a free urology camp at Pure Health Smart Clinics, Kangan on Saturday.Dr Imtiyaz Sofi,the noted Urologist of the valley provided free consultation in the OPD.In addition to free consultations, free investigations like uroflowmetry and urine examination was also done.Patients were also provided free medicines.
A good number of patients from different parts of the Kangan and adjoining areas visited the said health camp.
Dr Imtiyaz said, "various patients with different urological disorders like prostatomegaly, urolithiasis and urinary incontinence were examined and treated accordingly, they were also provided counselling regarding their health issues".
Tajamul Islam administrator and spokesperson of WMI said, "the camp was well organised, taking care of all the minute details and it received overwhelming response from the public.Some of the patients who needed further surgical intervention will be provided free treatment in our hospital under Ayushman Bharat scheme."
Dr Masood ul Hassan, Medical Director WMI said, "in our public outreach program we frequently conduct health camps in different parts of the valley including far off areas so that the local population can take benefit of these camps where our specialists are available".
Dr Hassan thanked Dr Rayees Jeelani, Medical Director of Pure Health Smart Clinics, Kangan for providing the space and logistic support, thus giving an opportunity to serve the public in this area.
