Secy Technical Administrative Reforms Inspections & Trainings Dept Conducts Comprehensive Inspection of GMC Anantnag
Dr. Ab Kabir Dar, Secretary Technical Administrative Reforms Inspections and Trainings Department led an inspection at Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag today, accompanied by his team. The visit aimed to evaluate the operational efficiency of various departments within the institution.
During the inspection, Dr. Kabir Dar reviewed reports concerning the attendance of doctors and paramedical staff, overall patient care, and the facilities available to patients in the hospitals under GMC Anantnag's administration.
The Secretary also toured the GMC associated Hospital Janglatmandi, where he engaged with patients to gather direct feedback on the healthcare services provided.
In a meeting with the Principal of GMC Anantnag, Dr. Kabir Dar discussed the institution's current performance and sought feedback on its functioning under her leadership. He emphasized that the primary goal of his visit was to ensure that government-provided facilities are effectively reaching and benefiting patients.
"The inspection aims to verify that government facilities are accessible to patients and that they receive the best possible care. I am pleased to note that GMC Anantnag is performing satisfactorily, though there is always room for improvement," stated Dr. Kabir Dar.
