Mohammad Altaf Dar, a senior trade union leader and socio-political activist, today called on all stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir to make decisions that serve the best interests of the region.

Addressing the current challenges and emerging developments, Dar emphasized that the well-being of J&K must remain at the forefront of all deliberations and actions.

"Jammu and Kashmir comes first. It is crucial that decisions made by stakeholders—whether political leaders, business representatives, or civil society reflect this priority. We cannot afford decisions that may be fatal for the future of our region," Dar stated.

Highlighting the diverse challenges facing the union territory, he stressed the importance of unity and collective action. He urged all parties involved to carefully consider the long-term impacts of their actions and to focus on initiatives that promote peace, economic stability, and overall prosperity for the people of J&K.

"Every step we take must lead towards the progress and welfare of our people. Stakeholders must ensure that their decisions foster growth and stability, not division and decline," he added.

Altaf Dar called for cooperation between political entities, local businesses, and the public to work toward a unified vision for the future of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring that the region thrives in every sphere.
