CRPF 35 Battalion launches Skill Development Training Programme for Assistant Beauty Therapists

The 35th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a Skill Development Training Programme for Assistant Beauty Therapists at Main Chowk, Suibugh, today. The initiative, part of the Government of India's Civic Action Plan (CAP), aims to promote self-employment opportunities in the beauty sector for local women.

The ceremony was graced by Sh. Vishnu Dwivedi, Commanding Officer of the 35th Battalion, who emphasized the significance of skill development in fostering self-reliance. “In a country where government job opportunities are limited, it is vital to equip our youth with skills that can lead to self-employment,” he stated. “This training will transform 30 participants from job seekers into job creators.”

The programme is set to provide 396 hours of comprehensive theoretical and practical training over the next two months, targeting 30 women from the local community. The initiative is a collaboration with Wyath Services Private Limited, which will support the training process.

During his address, Sh. Dwivedi highlighted the potential impact of this training on the participants' families. “Successful completion of this programme will empower these women not just to earn a livelihood, but also to become entrepreneurs,” he noted.

The event saw the attendance of senior CRPF officials and representatives from Wyath Services, underscoring the collective commitment to community upliftment. The initiative embodies the principles of empowerment and skill development, crucial for the holistic growth of society.

As the programme kicks off, it represents a vital step towards connecting with the local community and fostering a culture of self-sufficiency and entrepreneurial spirit among its members.
