Ministerial Staff Association Kupwara Holds Meeting to Address Pay Anomaly

The J&K All Departments Clerical Staff Association (Kupwara) held an important meeting at the DC Office Complex in Kupwara to discuss the recent court order issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Jammu on October 4, 2024, concerning pay anomalies for clerical staff in J&K.

The meeting, chaired by the district president along with other executive members, focused on devising a strategy for the effective follow-up on the CAT order. The district leaders informed that they had recently met with the Chief Minister's advisor, who expressed support for the clerical staff and assured them that their genuine issues and concerns would be addressed promptly.

During the discussions, the association emphasized the urgent need for the immediate implementation of the CAT's decision regarding pay anomalies, with retrospective effect.

A resolution was passed, committing the association to continue advocating for the rights and demands of the clerical staff until they are fully addressed. In addition, it was decided to organize a clerical convention at Town Hall, Kupwara, to further raise awareness and mobilize support for their cause.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the district leaders for their guidance and support.
