Oath Ceremony of Central Leaders of J&K Pensioners United Front Held in Jammu
The Oath Ceremony of the central office bearers of the Jammu division of the Jammu Kashmir Pensioners United Front (JKPUF) was held today at the TRC Hotel Residency in Jammu.
The event was presided over by Ab Qayoom Wani, Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum and President of the Pensioners United Front.
At least forty leaders from across the Jammu division were sworn in as central leaders of JKPUF by Wani. During the ceremony, the newly appointed leaders pledged to work tirelessly for the welfare of pensioners and the broader community in Jammu and Kashmir. They also committed to launching a collective fight against the growing menace of drug abuse, vowing to take decisive steps to eradicate it from the region.
Wani urged the leadership of the Pensioners United Front to strengthen the organization in every district and tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring it is capable of responding effectively to any challenge. He emphasized the importance of living up to the expectations of pensioners and the common people of the region.
Addressing the new office bearers, Wani stressed the need for commitment, dedication, and adherence to the constitution of the organization at every level of their work. He also thanked all the leaders and executive members who traveled from various districts of Jammu division to attend the ceremony, expressing appreciation for their respect and support for the leadership of JKPUF.
Wani further appealed to the participants to extend their support to the Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum in their respective areas, encouraging them to engage in social reformation efforts for the betterment of society.
The event marked a significant step in strengthening the Pensioners United Front and reaffirming the commitment of its leadership to social justice and community welfare in Jammu and Kashmir.
