Ganderbal 9 Dec : J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides District Ganderbal under the dynamic leadership of District Secretary Mr.Mohammad Lateef Khan,celebrated the Foundation Day/Flag Day at Govt.Degree College Ganderbal.Mr. S.M.Shafi,Joint State Secretary J&K BSG.and Ms.Firdous Ahad,State Training Commissioner Guides were the special guests at the occassion.
The programme was organised by Dr.Jamsheeda,Incharge Rangers and Mr Mansoor Ahamad,Incharge Rovers GDC
Ganderbal.Mr.S.M.Shafi gave a detailed information regarding the Foundation Day/Flag Day Celebration.Mr.Mohammad Lateef Khan,District Secretary Ganderbal in his brief speech explained the Aims,purposes and Principles of scouting.Prof.Fouzia Fatima Sahiba,the Principal of the College gave stress on the discipline of the Rovers & Rangers.She stressed that the office bearers of the organisation should also adop the laws of Scouting in themselves only they they can inculcate the spirit of 9 scout/Guides Laws among the young people.
She applauded the good speech delivered by Mr Mohammad Lateef.At the end students and the staff of the College donated for the Flag Day celebration and vote of thanks was proposed by Physical Director Ms. Ravinder kour.
