The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotism at the Excise and Taxation Complex in Srinagar today. The event, organized by the State Taxes Department, saw the gathering of officers and officials who came together to honor the spirit of the Republic.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Additional Commissioner State Taxes (Administration & Enforcement), Kashmir, Parveez Ahmad Raina, JKAS. The ceremony was followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the venue with a sense of unity and national pride.
In his address, the Additional Commissioner highlighted the significance of discipline, integrity, and teamwork within the department, emphasizing how these values contribute to the department’s success and the nation’s progress. A special segment of the event was dedicated to honoring police and army personnel who have demonstrated exceptional dedication in safeguarding the department. Their unwavering commitment to duty and their efforts to ensure the safety and security of both the department and its personnel were acknowledged with Certificates of Appreciation. This recognition served as a token of gratitude for their service and sacrifice in maintaining peace and security in the region.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Additional Commissioner Parveez Ahmad Raina, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and staff for their active participation. He urged everyone to uphold the values of the Republic and continue striving for excellence in their duties.
