Youth Civil Society Kashmir Calls on LG

Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor met with a delegation from Youth Civil Society Kashmir to discuss crucial issues affecting the region, including drug de-addiction, youth and women empowerment, and solutions to address these challenges effectively.  

During the meeting, the delegation emphasized the urgent need for a Drug-Free Kashmir and sought government intervention to support initiatives aimed at eradicating substance abuse. They also highlighted the importance of empowering young people and women through skill development programs and employment opportunities.  

The Lieutenant Governor assured the delegation of full administrative support, reaffirming the government's commitment to tackling these pressing concerns. He acknowledged the role of youth-led organizations in driving positive change and encouraged their continued participation in policy discussions and community initiatives.  

This collaboration between the Youth Civil Society and the administration aims to foster a healthier, more inclusive society, ensuring a better future for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
