In a heartfelt condolence message, Ab Qayoom Wani, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and President of Pensioners United Front (JKPUF), expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Former DIG Sheikh Hafeez, the father of Sheikh Sarmand Hafeez, Commissioner Secretary of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu and Kashmir.
Wani described the deceased as a pious individual with remarkable qualities, both in character and heart. He highlighted Sheikh Hafeez's contributions to society through various official positions, noting his dedication to public service.
Wani offered prayers for Jannatul Firdous for the departed soul and strength to the grieving family, particularly Sarmand Hafeez, his brother Dr. Shibli, his cousin DIG Ladakh Division Sheikh Junaid, and other family members, to cope with the loss.
Leaders from both JKCSF and JKPUF extended their sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family, praying for eternal peace for the departed soul. A high-level delegation led by Qayoom Wani, including Mir Fayaz, Mohammad Shafi Kambi, and others, visited the residence of Sarmand Hafeez to offer condolences and support during this difficult time.
