JKCSF Appeals Govt to Reconsider Ban on Awami Action Committee, Ithaadul Muslimeen

The Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF), under the chairmanship of Abdul Qayoom Wani, expresses deep concern over the recent ban imposed on the Awami Action Committee (AAC) and Ithaadul Muslimeen (IM). 

The Forum considers this decision as unfortunate and appeals to the government to reconsider the move in the larger interest of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation as a whole.

Both AAC and IM have historically played a significant role in promoting education, fostering communal harmony, and contributing to social reformation in the region. These organizations have been deeply rooted in the socio-religious fabric of Jammu and Kashmir, and their contributions towards establishing peace and strengthening inter-community relations are well acknowledged by the people.
