Allama Dr. Shaykh Hami Urges Upholding Spiritual and Ethical Values for Societal Strength

In a heartfelt address to thousands of attendees at the shrine of Peer Dastgir Sahib (RA) in Khanyar, Allama Dr. Shaykh Ghulam Rasool Hami, leader of the Islamic Caravan International, stressed the urgent need to uphold spiritual and ethical values in society. 

Speaking during the special Friday gathering marking the Conquest of Makkah, Allama Hami expressed deep concern over the increasing disregard for humanity's values, which he believes is leading to societal destruction.

He emphasized that the current generation must not only pursue modern education but also receive moral and spiritual training. Allama Hami highlighted that no nation can achieve true progress solely through material strength, pointing out the vital role of parents in nurturing both the physical and spiritual needs of their children. He urged families to instill the teachings and exemplary conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his companions, and his family into the lives of their children.

Additionally, Allama Hami called on public groups and government bodies to take immediate action against the widespread issues of alcoholism and drug abuse, urging a comprehensive plan to eliminate these harmful practices. He warned against complacency and emphasized that promoting alcohol and drug-related businesses would lead to moral decay and the erosion of core societal values. He concluded by asserting that societal progress depends on the complete eradication of these harmful elements.
