CISF and RRU Forge Strategic Partnership to Elevate Security Training and Innovation
In a landmark move to strengthen national security capabilities, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, heralding a new era of collaboration in security training, research, and innovation.
The agreement, formalized at a special ceremony at CISF Headquarters in New Delhi, marks a significant step toward enhancing the skills and expertise of CISF personnel.
The MoU was signed by Professor (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Vice Chancellor of RRU, and Shri Dinesh Pratap Parihar, Inspector General (Training), CISF. The partnership, operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs, aims to foster academic development, capacity building, and technological innovation in the security domain.
Under the agreement, CISF and RRU will collaborate on several key initiatives. These include designing joint training programs, ranging from short-term certificate courses to seminars and workshops, tailored to meet the evolving needs of CISF personnel. The partnership will also leverage the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) platform to deliver customized training modules.
A strong emphasis will be placed on research and innovation, with both institutions working on joint projects to address practical security challenges. The MoU encourages innovation and incubation projects to develop cutting-edge solutions for the security sector. Additionally, the agreement facilitates knowledge sharing through mutual access to subject experts and institutional resources, ensuring continuous professional growth.
