Cyber Police Kashmir Warns Against Sharing Security Deployment Content Online
The Cyber Police in Kashmir have issued a strict advisory to the public, urging them not to share or upload photos or videos of security deployments or ongoing operations on social media platforms.
The authorities warned that such actions pose serious risks to public safety and can jeopardize the success of security operations.
Officials emphasized that circulating sensitive content online may not only endanger lives but also hinder the lawful duties of security forces. “Uploading or forwarding such material is a violation of cyber and security laws,” a police spokesperson said, adding that strict legal action will be taken against offenders.
The advisory comes amid heightened security activity in the region, where the role of digital platforms in potentially compromising operational integrity has raised growing concern.
The police have urged citizens to act responsibly in the digital space and refrain from engaging in activities that may inadvertently assist anti-national elements.
