PM Modi Warns Pakistan: Terror Strikes Will Be Met With Force

In a strongly worded address to the nation on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded India’s armed forces, intelligence agencies, and scientists for their role in the country’s decisive response to recent cross-border hostilities.

“We have witnessed the strength and restraint of our nation over the past few days,” said PM Modi. “I salute our military, intelligence services, and scientists for their exemplary work. Pakistan was rattled by our strikes on terror camps. Instead of cooperating, it responded by targeting our schools, colleges, Gurdwaras, temples, and military installations. But their assets were destroyed by us.”

Rejecting any tolerance for threats, the Prime Minister declared, “No nuclear blackmail will be tolerated anymore.” He reiterated that India’s policy towards cross-border terrorism had evolved significantly: “After surgical and air strikes, our new response is Operation Sindoor. This is the new normal.”

PM Modi underscored that India’s missile and drone strikes in Bahawalpur and Muridke—the known hubs of terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba—had not just destroyed infrastructure but also shaken the morale of terrorists. “These were not just terror camps, they were universities of global terrorism. Be it 9/11 or attacks in India, the trail often leads back to these places,” he said.

Blaming the Pakistani military and establishment for nurturing terrorism, Modi warned, “The way Pakistan is promoting terror will eventually lead to its own destruction. If it wants to survive, it must dismantle its terror infrastructure.”

Earlier today, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan held talks at 5:00 PM, where both sides discussed de-escalation and reaffirmed their commitment to cease all firing and aggressive action. Discussions also included steps toward troop reduction along the border and forward positions.

As tensions remain high, the Prime Minister’s address signals a hardened stance on terrorism and a clear message to Pakistan: any attack on India will invite a calibrated and forceful response.
