Prostitution Racket Unearthed in North Kashmir, Four Arrested: Police
Baramulla Police busted a prostitution racket operating from the Barzulla area of Kunzer in North Kashmir, arresting four people, including a woman.
The police said that acting on specific intelligence, a team from Police Station Kunzer carried out a swift raid, uncovering the illegal activity.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ahad Waza of Utikoo Sheikhpora, Abdullah Waza of Barzulla Kunzer, and Bilal Bhat of Bamroda, currently residing in Utikoo.
The identity of the arrested woman has been withheld.
Police have registered an FIR (No. 37/2025) under sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at Kunzer Police Station. Officials said further investigation is underway to expose any broader network involved in the racket. [KNT]
