A fire broke out late last evening in the densely populated Nareara Dangerpora area of Eidgah in Srinagar’s old city.
Officials said fire tenders from Sakidafar, S.H. Pora, Headquarters, Babdemb, and Nowshera were rushed to the spot soon after receiving an alert.
“Preliminary reports indicate that four to five houses have been affected,” an official said. (KNS)
