The Jammu & Kashmir unit of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) officially launched its Membership Drive in Srinagar, which will run from April 14 to October 15, 2025, followed by organizational elections from October 15 to November 15, 2025.
The initiative, aimed at expanding the party’s grassroots base ahead of the Urban Local Body and Panchayat elections, was formally launched by RLD National General Secretary Shri Trilok Tyagi, who is currently visiting the region to assess party structure and poll preparedness.
Prominent leaders present included Mohammad Altaf Dar (General Secretary Org/Media Incharge UT J&K), Abrar Ali, S A Rashid, Mohammad Akbar, Abdul Hameed Bhat, Hilal Ahmed Wani, Tawheed Lone, Raja Haris, Mohammad Shafi Wani, and Sarwar Ahmed. All leaders pledged to strengthen party outreach and connect with the people across all districts in the coming weeks.
