The CSFK (Coalition for Safety of Frontline Keepers – Health) has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attack on a doctor performing his duties at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar. The organization described the incident as “deplorable” and a serious threat to the safety of healthcare professionals.
In a statement released today, CSFK said the violent assault not only endangers the lives of doctors and medical staff but also severely disrupts critical healthcare services upon which countless patients depend daily.
“Doctors and healthcare workers dedicate their lives to serving society. Such an attack is a grave violation of the sanctity of healthcare institutions and must be met with strict legal action,” the statement read.
CSFK has called on the government to urgently strengthen security mechanisms in hospitals and ensure the safety and dignity of medical professionals. The organization emphasized that protecting frontline healthcare workers is essential to maintaining an effective and functional health system.
Reaffirming its commitment, CSFK expressed full solidarity with the medical community and urged authorities to take swift and decisive action to prevent such incidents in the future.
