CISF Overhauls Training to Transform into a Battle-Hardy, Tech-Savvy, Future-Ready

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has rolled out sweeping training reforms aimed at transforming the force into a battle-hardened, tech-driven, and future-ready organisation. The roadmap was announced during the Annual Training Conference – 2025 at NISA Hyderabad, chaired by DG Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, IPS.

Key Highlights:
NSG-level physical and combat training standards across all ranks.

Inclusion of 21 km half-marathons in all basic training courses.

Training integrated with 20+ advanced technologies including drones, AI & cyber tools.

Establishment of Digital Integrated Command & Control Centres at all training institutes.

All recruits certified as First Responders in fire, disaster, and medical emergencies.

Airport screener certification included in basic training for immediate deployment.

Training capacity increased by 50% to 15,000 recruits annually; 3 new RTCs approved.

Creation of 2,000-member instructor pool with 10% seats reserved for women.

Launch of Central Instructor Management System (CIMS) for transparent selection.

Centres of Excellence set up for Sports (Nuh), Aviation Security (CASA), and Fire Services (Bhilai).

₹450 crore allocated under Modernisation Plan–V for tech and infra upgrades.

Academic partnerships with JNU, IGNOU, Osmania, Madras University for skill certification.
