The delegation was led by Mr. Ramesh Yadav, President of the Folklore Research Academy, Amritsar, and included prominent figures such as Dr. Gurmai Singh Sidhu, Dr. Manpreet Singh, Dr. Johal, and Dr. Parjeet Singh.

The dignitaries received a warm welcome at Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport, Budgam by Sonaullah Tamiri (President, ABRS), and Mr. A. R. Shaheen, former Member of Parliament, who was also part of the visiting team. Also accompanying the delegation were Mr. Altaf Hussain (Senior Executive Member), Senior Director (Drama) and noted artist Mr. Bashir Ahmed Thokur (Vice President, JKTF & Senior Executive Member, ABRS), who played a key role in coordinating the visit.

During their stay, the delegation is expected to engage with local stakeholders to gather firsthand insights into the ongoing challenges faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir due to natural disasters and broader socio-cultural issues.

Notably, the same delegation had extended support and distributed relief materials during the devastating floods that struck Jammu and Kashmir in 2014.
