Gulmarg stood out as the warmest location in Kashmir today, recording a temperature of 2.0°C, which is 3.5°C above normal for this time of year.
In contrast, several other parts of the Valley experienced a sharp dip in temperatures. Srinagar registered -1.8°C, while popular tourist destination Pahalgam recorded -3.2°C. Baramulla and Shopian were among the coldest, with temperatures touching -3.4°C and -4.0°C, respectively.
The temperature pattern highlights the ongoing cold wave conditions across the region, even as Gulmarg remains relatively warmer compared to its usual winter readings.
