Union Home Minister Amit Shah today hold a high-level meeting in New Delhi to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the meeting will be attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs, top officers of paramilitary forces, intelligence agencies, and senior officers from the civil and police administration of the Union Territory.
The meeting is expected to focus on the prevailing security scenario, counter-terrorism measures, border management and overall law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior officers will brief the Home Minister on the prevailing security scenario, including counter-terror operations, border management and steps taken during the winter months to prevent infiltration from across the Line of Control and the International Border. (KNC)
