STeP–India Chairperson Greets Newly Appointed NATF National Chairman Vishal Chopra
Chairperson of STeP–India Organization, Baramulla, Smt. Samia Khan on Tuesday extended her warm greetings and best wishes to Shri Vishal Chopra on his appointment as the National Chairman of the National Anti-Terrorism Front (NATF).
Congratulating Shri Chopra, Smt. Khan lauded his leadership and commitment towards strengthening national unity, peace, and social harmony. During the interaction, she highlighted several pressing social concerns, particularly the growing unemployment among youth in Jammu and Kashmir’s border areas. She emphasized the urgent need for targeted employment opportunities, skill-based training, and livelihood generation programmes for youth facing limited access to resources.
Smt. Khan also stressed the importance of girl child education, advocating for the promotion of formal education along with skill development initiatives to ensure economic independence and social empowerment of girls and young women, especially in remote and border regions.
Responding to the concerns, Shri Vishal Chopra assured full cooperation and support from NATF in addressing these issues. He reiterated NATF’s commitment to working closely with civil society organizations like STeP–India to promote youth empowerment, education, skill development, and social stability in sensitive regions.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing their resolve to maintain coordination and work jointly for the welfare and upliftment of marginalized communities.
