Visually Impaired Candidate from Bandipora Cracks UPSC

In a remarkable achievement that has brought pride to North Kashmir, Irfan Ahmed Lone, a visually impaired candidate from Naidkhai in the Sonawari area of Bandipora district, has cleared the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, the results of which were declared on Friday.

Irfan, son of Bashir Ahmad Lone, secured All India Rank (AIR) 957, marking a significant milestone earned through years of dedication, perseverance, and determination.

His success has been widely celebrated in his hometown, where family members, relatives, and residents of the area expressed joy and admiration for his achievement.

Despite being 100 percent visually impaired, Irfan pursued his studies with unwavering commitment and remained focused on his dream of entering the civil services. His journey stands as a powerful example of resilience, demonstrating that determination and hard work can overcome even the toughest challenges.
