Court Rejects Bail in NDPS Case in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, March 7: The Court of the Additional Sessions Judge Ganderbal rejected the bail applications of two accused persons in a narcotics-related case.

The bail applications were filed by Kuldeep Singh, son of Pretam Singh, a resident of Shujaulpur Majari, Tehsil Balachor, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Punjab, and Yaqoub Beigh, son of Mohammad Abdullah Beigh, a resident of Hergam.

Both accused had sought bail in connection with FIR No. 49/2021 registered under sections 8/15, 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act at the Anti Narcotics Task Force Police Station Humhama Srinagar.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court of Additional Sessions Judge Ms. Fozia Paul dismissed the bail applications on March 7, 2026.

The prosecution was represented by APP Shafaat Ahmad for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, while the accused were represented by their respective counsel.
