Renowned endocrinologist and Director of Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr Mohammad Ashraf Ganie, hosted an Iftaar gathering in Srinagar, bringing together members of the medical fraternity, civil society, and media.
The event was marked by a spirit of togetherness and reflection in the holy month of Ramadan, with attendees appreciating the initiative to foster unity and community engagement.
On the occasion, Dr Ganie, a distinguished gold medalist known for his contributions to healthcare and medical research in Jammu and Kashmir, was felicitated by Raja Mohidin, Editor of Kashmir Press Service (KPS) Media Group. He was honoured for his exemplary service in the field of medicine, his leadership at SKIMS and exemplary administrative skills.
Dr Ganie expressed gratitude for the recognition and reiterated his commitment to improving healthcare delivery and addressing emerging health challenges in Jammu and Kashmir.
