Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness widespread rainfall and snowfall over the next 24 hours as a moderate weather system continues to impact the region, officials said.
According to forecast insights, the overall intensity of the system is expected to remain moderate, though some areas may experience heavy showers during this period.
Weather conditions are expected to improve from Tuesday morning, with only light rainfall or snowfall likely at a few places.
From Wednesday onwards, most parts of the Union Territory are likely to witness dry weather, except for isolated areas where brief light showers cannot be ruled out.
The changing weather pattern has already brought a dip in temperatures across several regions, with authorities advising caution, particularly in higher reaches where snowfall may affect mobility.
