More than 60 livestock were killed after a lightning strike during late-night hours in the Lanedagen area of Pahalgam, Anantnag, amid heavy rainfall and intense thunderstorms that lashed the region overnight.
The animals died on the spot after being struck during the storm, leaving owners in shock. Officials visited the area and assessed the losses. No human casualty was reported.
