Indian Dental Association (IDA) Aghast on Callous Attitude of Govt Towards Dental Fraternity
Srinagar: Indian Dental Association J&K Branch is Concerned about the issues of almost 7000 Dental Graduates who are awaiting for Recruitment from Year 2008 and as such 1000 Dental Graduates and Post Graduates are now ineligible for appearing if any future next JKPSC Exams as they have Crossed Upper Age limit without facing JKPSC Exams Once.
J&K has got so far only 543 Dental Graduates recruited through JKPSC from independence till Date which shows Callous and Step Motherly Treatment towards Dental Fraternity and as per World Health Organization recommends One Dental Surgeon for 7,500 Human Population.
The Competent lot of Dental Candidates appointed through CEET around UT are being let go in Depressive and Dejective Phase after their Completion of Graduation and Post Graduation from various Govt Dental Collegs of the UT.
The file bearing No HD/ Plan / 68 / 2018 is taking up Dust between Health Department and Finance Department Secretariat since Decades .
Indian Dental Association J&K Branch Demands the Govt for Absorption of Unemployed Dental Doctors through JKPSC and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes at earliest and framing of a Regular Policy for Recruitment of Dental Surgeons every year on the basis of number of Seats alloted in various undergraduate and Post graduate level in various Govt Dental Colleges around in J&K UT.
A Seperate Directorate of Dentistry for Smooth Redressal of Demands and Grievances is a Choice as in other States of India .
