Kashmir’s Beauty Mesmerizes Tourists From Mumbai

Srinagar: A group of tourists from Mumbai had an incredible experience during their visit to the Kashmir valley recently.

Talking to this newspaper, the Mumbai-based Social Activist Dipti believes in unity and supporting the country. She feels Kashmir is a paradise on Earth and must be visited by all people.

“I love being here in Kashmir and would motivate everyone to visit the Valley for a lifetime experience of bliss,” she said.

The tourists are the biggest brand ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir and they can project a positive picture of the J&K.

Kashmir has historically been an attraction for anyone who wants to relax, and enjoy. In the past, the stakeholders have not been able to promote the Kashmir Valley, its unique weather, mountain peaks, water bodies, vast fields and orchids, archeological sites, and cultural signposts.

Another tourist, part of the group, said that the people have “unfortunately fallen prey to a viciously negative campaign launched about the J&K” which needs to be corrected.

“The need of the hour is that tourists wishing to visit be told about the valley in real and accurate terms.”

The tourist appealed to all the stakeholders of the industry to help people in clearing the negative perception about the J&K.

A tourist suggested linking all the shrines to generate a niche tourist footfall.

There is a need to further diversify the portfolio and include attractions by tourist players in their packages which can enhance the tourist footfall to the J&K, the tourist added.
