SRINAGAR: A Lok Adalat will be held at Bandipora in north Kashmir onAugust 21 to settled cases of different nature while two national adalats are being organized at Pulwama and Kulgam on September 9, an official spokesman said here today.
He said according to chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora, a special Lok Adalat relating to civil, criminal, electricity and other disputes (pending and pre-litigation) is being held on August 21, 2017 in the District Court Complex.
Interested litigants are informed to approach the court authorities by or before August 21, 2017 so as to list their cases in the said Lok Adalat.
Similarly, National Lok Adalats are being held in the court premises of Kulgam and Pulwama on September 9, 2017 under the Chairmanships of District Legal Services Authority Kulgam.
Cases (pending and pre-litigation) pertaining to NI Act under Section 138, Bank Recovery Cases, MACT cases, Matrimonial, Electricity and Water Bills (Excluding theft cases), Revenue Cases other civil cases (rent, Elementary rights, Injunction suits, specific performance suits), Criminal compoundable offences and other cases shall be taken up in the said Lok Adalat.
Interested persons can approach their respective Chairman District Legal Services Authority along with the particulars of the cases to list their cases in the National Lok Adalat. (UNI)
