Srinagar, Sep 19: A dead body of a man, presumably in his 60’s, was found under mysterious circumstances near Akad Park area of Aishmuqam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday morning.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that upon intimation by locals about spotting of a body near Akad Park in Aishmuqam, a police team visited the spot.
After preliminary assessment, the body was taken into custody for further medico-legal formalities, the official said.
Identifying the deceased as Abdul Rehman son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat, a resident of Mala-Akad Anantnag presumably in his 60’s, the official further said that a case has been registered in this regard for further investigations. (KDC)
