It is so tragic that innocent civilians were killed by armed militants in Srinagar: Soz

Srinagar (PR): “It is so tragic that four innocent civilians were killed by armed militants in Srinagar, yesterday 5th October, 2021.

The slain civilians included Mukhan Lal Bindroo, a reputed Chemist of Srinagar. Bindroo’s killing saddened many of his admirers.

To the best of my knowledge, Bindroo never promoted any controversy around his person, all these years.

I knew Mr. Bindroo for, at least, two decades and I always knew him as a courteous man.

Makhan Lal Bindroo never migrated from Srinagar, even during the worst period of armed militancy in Kashmir.

Shri Bindroo’s assassination is a great loss to Kashmir’s composite culture.

My deep condolences to the Bindroo family, particularly to his son Dr. Sindharth Bindroo.”
