Srinagar, November 16: In connection with celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a Painting Competition was organised at Kashmir Harvard School Habak Srinagar by SDRF Kashmir in collaboration with Kashmir Harvard School Habak in Srinagar today.
A total of 80 students of reputed schools including Kashmir Harvard School and wards of SDRF personnel participated in two categories.
In Category-A, Fitima Abass of Ali Memorial School, Tahoor Mushtaq of Green Valley and Rayan Malik of Rainbow International achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In Category-B, Budoor Yousuf Kashmir of Harvard, Arshiya Umer of Kashmir Harvard and Suhaib Shabir of Tiny Hearts achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
During the event, all the participating students were served with refreshment and were given participation Certificates. Cash prizes along with Certificate were also awarded to those students who secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in each group by Shri Haseeb-ur-Rehman, Commandant SDRF 1st Bn Srinagar and Shri Tariq Ahmad Baktoo (Chairman Kashmir Harvard School Habak Srinagar) besides principal of School and GOs of SDRF Kashmir.
In the valedictory function Shri Haseeb-Ur-Rehman, CO SDRF 1st Bn, Srinagar who was also chief Guest on the occasion assured the participants that in future such programmes will be organised by SDRF Kashmir in future also.
