Pre-budget meeting Chaired by Financial Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary Finance  Atul Dulloo conducted through VC

Srinagar (KPS): A Pre-budget meeting was held by J&K State Taxes Department under the Chairmanship by Atal Dulloo, IAS Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Finance Government of Jammu And Kashmir. Stake holders from business fraternity of Kashmir division attended the meeting through Video conferencing at conference hall of Excise and Taxation Complex Srinagar. The officers of State Taxes department Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, JKAS Additional Commissioner (Admin & Enfc),Deputy commissioners (JKAS) Parvez Ahmad Raina, Mrs. Ulfat Jabeen, Mrs.Sumaira Shameem, and Shahnawaz Shah attended the meeting whereas representatives from business organizations namely PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kashmir, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCC&I), Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation Baqal (KTMF) , Mohammad Sadiq Baqal, Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) Mohammad Yaseen Khan, Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA), Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation B. A. Rather also attended the meeting and put their demands and suggestions. They pointed to some specific issues  like parking facilities in Srinagar city, transport facility in old Batmaloo adda, waiver of bank loans and electricity dues, establishment of trade bhawans, SRO extensions of budgetary support  SRO 519/521 and 63 to all existing units, Freight subsidy on the import of raw material. GST reimbursement for travel and hospitality sector, Reimbursement of GST to handicraft and handloom on the pattern of other manufacturing sectors, extension in Lease deeds for hotels on Govt. land, Waiving off token tax and passenger tax in favor of transporters from August 2019 to December 2021, providing of Soft loans to tour operators, agents.
