Jammu Kashmir Faces “Power Terror” In LG Rule As Electricity Department Gone In Private Hand; Says Prof Bhim Singh

Jammu (PR): Prof.Bhim Singh, President of J&K National Panthers Party while conveying the message to all the people of J&K who have been facing a terror which can be realized by the almost all people in the State because of electricity power shut and mishandling of the situation by the administration.

The JKNPP President has urged for Presidential intervention since the entire J&K Electricity Department is shut because the employees have not been paid any salary for months. The employees in the Electricity Department have stopped working because the employees have not been paid a penny for the reason that the Lt. Governor administration in J&K has declared the electricity shall be given to the private hands (contractors). Thousands of employees from bottom to the top have been conveyed the message that the Electricity Department salary dealt by private contractors and the Govt. shall have nothing to do as it was dealt by the government itself since Maharajas’ Rule. The rumours all around have created chaos throughout the State and power supplies have gone shut for months. There is no electricity available throughout J&K.

Surprisingly, a notification issued by the LG administration has conveyed a hard message that almost half of the employees have been disengaged. Half of J&K is facing very difficult situation and this additional electricity terror has terrorized the people because of non-availability of electricity and the situation is out of imagination.

So much so that the Army has been called to handle this kind of situation, which cannot be explained or realized.

Prof.Bhim Singh urged the President of India, Mr. Ramnath Kovind for immediate intervention so that all the employees the daily or otherwise are paid all the balance of salaries and their services are saved from double terror one by the LG administration and second by complete power shut by the State Electricity Department.

Prof.Bhim Singh appealed to all the political parties in J&K to rise in one voice that we shall stand together, save the people of J&K from cold waves and terror created by shut of electricity. He also appealed to the President of India to send a special Governor to J&K and Ladakh so that the humanity and people of the State shall survive physically and politically also.
