Congress leader hails Shahid Choudhary for national recognition for COVID management

Srinagar: Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Friday has felicitated Shahid Choudhary for being accorded the prestigious national award in recognition to his services during the pandemic.
In a statement, Kadfeen said that it is moment of immense pride and joy for the entire Jammu and Kashmir and that the administrative set-up of the state desperately needs the officers of such integrity and repute to accord people a sigh of relief- something they have been aspiring for since very long time.
Kadfeen said that the time when COVID 19 struck Srinagar was riddled with ordeals and most of the helmsmen had no idea what was going on. It was at that time when Shahid emerged on the scene and tamed the situation. The Congress leader added that the prompt decisions made by Shahid Choudhary in midst of that trepidatious situation saved many precious lives and the policies of his shall act as a guiding factor for his successors to deal with the challenges the pandemic would throw in in the future.
