Rajouri, Jan 11 : Seven members of a family were injured in a road accident at Rehan village on Rajouri Kotranka Budhal road, police said on Tuesday.
Police told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an accident took place on Tuesday evening when a vehicle (Safari) moving on Rajouri-Kotranka-Budhal road skidded off the road and fell into the roadside fields.
The members of a family travelling in the vehicle sustained injuries and were evacuated to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where they are undergoing treatment.
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Mushtaq (37) son of Mohammad Bashir, his wife Anam Riaz (32), his two sons namely Wazhool Qamar (9) and Hadeeb Qamar (5), Rameez Khan (35) son of Mohammad Riaz, his wife Nanzum Kouser (30) and his two sons namely Mohammad Rehan (8) and Mohammad Husnain (4).
Police said to have taken up investigation after registration a case under relevant sections of law—(KNO)
