Srinagar: The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sheeri has organized a seminar on “PC & PNDT ACT- Save the girl child” at PHC Delina.
According to the statement to media, the officials said that in the seminar, a large number of participants including students, ASHAs, FMPHWs teachers, health employees and other citizens participated.
BMO Sheeri presented a detailed power point presentation regarding the act and highlighted the role of one and all in sensitizing the general public regarding the issue.
Various speakers delivered the lecture on the topic.
Meanwhile, the locals of Delina hailed the efforts of BMO Sheeri.
ZEO Singhpora and local teachers have demanded that such programmes should be organized in every higher school of the zone.
