JKCSF urges LG admin to roll back land ‘reclaiming’ order
Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum today said that the government must spare the poor and landless people.
JKCSF Chairman Qayoom Wani while urging Jammu and Kashmir government to spare the poor people in harsh winters said that reclaiming land from poor and landless people did not meet justice.
Chairman JKCSF expressed anguish over the Govt. order vacating the State land allotted under the Roshni act and Kahcharai land by the end of current month.
Chairman Wani said land was provided under Roshni Scheme by the earlier govt to poor, needy and landless for building houses and cultivation but now the prevailing regime is snatching it back that too in harsh weather conditions., JKCSF urged upon the LG administration to roll back the in the larger interest of poor and destitute people of Jammu Kashmir.
The statement said the Society will continue to fight against all anti people decisions. “Jobs or land, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have first rights over it. Wani said that Jammu and Kashmir have become experimental lab and orders are being issued with applying mind and people of Jammu and Kashmir have been put into mental trauma.
The government must understand it and spare the poor and landless people, ” Wani said.
